Only a short drive from Calgary, this was a perfect Sunday getaway for lunch, we were welcomed by a lovely rustic style restaurant nestled between tall evergreens with a large outdoor patio.
Advertised as upscale authentic Italian food, we eagerly ordered a light lunch starting with the Bruschetta along with a 8" Margherita pizza to follow, which was described as Italian Roma tomatoes with basil.
When our order arrived we were shocked to find our Bruschetta was non other than 1 hotdog styled bun cut in half, then quartered and topped off with the bruschetta, the bun was soggy and at $11.00 was beyond disappointing, it was insulting. The 8" pizza each quarter receiving one slice of what was clearly not a Roma tomato, again at $16.00 you just simply expect the ingredients to match the prices.
The staff was pleasant and the setting was lovely, the food is priced sadly for the location, too expensive and ordinary at best.

If a day out in the Rocky Mountains and a spot of lunch is what you are craving, this magical Hotel in it's beautiful setting is well worth the 60 minute drive from Calgary.
The gorgeous castle like building built in 1887 simply takes your breath away and as you walk around the splendor of it's interior you feel a sense of something very special.
Lunch on the stone patio overlooking the valleys and snow capped Rockies will have you taking the camera out pronto because it does not matter where you look, it is beautiful. We had a light lunch, Burger/salad, $18 which was good but clearly you are paying for the location and history that you occupy. High Tea is just lovely with the same spectacular views and a treat for those who enjoy a delicious cup of tea and a selection of yummy finger sandwiches.
If you want to impress the out of town guests or simply treat yourself, this is a Must Do !!

What a beautiful facility this is. We took my 78 year old Father there and he thought it was absolutely wonderful. The displays were fantastic, the weaving of the stories, the music really make this a must see for the Military and history buffs of the 1st & 2nd World War. Some area's will literally touch your heart. This is a must see for Calgarian's and visitors alike. !!!

Having used this company twice now I am convinced this is the best carpet cleaning company in Calgary, Ken the technician is professional, knowledgeable and meticulous in completing the job. A full 3 hours to clean my carpets is something I have not experienced for a long time. Price wise they are reasonable but service and quality exceeds anything I have had in a very long time. This is my 1st choice for carpets, five star for sure.

Located in a strip mall in Willow Park. It is cosy with a handful of tables, the atmosphere is nice, we had Supper, the food is quite good with ample proportions.
Perhaps the only downside here is it is a bit pricey, so family dining with the kids could be expensive as well as lacking in kids menu choices.

We have purchased 2 homes with this agent and cannot say enough nice things about him.
He has needed the patience of a saint to deal with us and our many changes of heart, however his good nature and patience never failed. He is professional and his many years of experience helped us make the right decision each time.
One thing we really appreciated was his honesty. Buying or selling, Jim is definitely who we like to call !

After driving an Audi, Benz and Infiniti I would have to say that Lexus of Calgary is the cream of the crop for their superb customer service. Simply wonderful vehicles, we have owned the LX and the ES, both were great. They treat you and your vehicle like a VIP, long after purchase.
