Excellent atmosphere, large separate bar and nice dining area. This is a beautiful restaurant interior wise and I found the servers and service to be friendly and attentive. Now on to the food.
We were very surprised at how empty it was on a Saturday night however after dining it may have given us the clue.
The food does not match either the service or funky surroundings, bland and somewhat overpriced. We both ordered chicken dishes, $17 & $19, the barbecued breast is just sauce brushed on a breast, comes with coleslaw and beans. The 2nd dish was $19, breast with a bit of veg plus goat cheese on top, plus beans, it was just OK, the fries are like Mcdonalds - not good.
So suffice to say, beautiful restaurant, but the food is boring and inconsistent with the prices being charged. |
