We have been here several times and always find it one of the best steakhouses in the SE. Located in the community of Sundance. Great menu with a wide variety, Chicken,steaks, burgers, I have had them all and have enjoyed them equally.
Prices are within the range you expect so reasonable for the quality...Stuffed chicken is around $18. Appetizers are tasty and the desserts are omg...delicious...
Great restaurant for both business and pleasure. |

Excellent atmosphere, large separate bar and nice dining area. This is a beautiful restaurant interior wise and I found the servers and service to be friendly and attentive. Now on to the food.
We were very surprised at how empty it was on a Saturday night however after dining it may have given us the clue.
The food does not match either the service or funky surroundings, bland and somewhat overpriced. We both ordered chicken dishes, $17 & $19, the barbecued breast is just sauce brushed on a breast, comes with coleslaw and beans. The 2nd dish was $19, breast with a bit of veg plus goat cheese on top, plus beans, it was just OK, the fries are like Mcdonalds - not good.
So suffice to say, beautiful restaurant, but the food is boring and inconsistent with the prices being charged. |

Was expecting a nice French restaurant, what I got was a extremely loud pub type venue with extraordinary prices and sub par food.
Couple that with sitting at the back of the restaurant in what felt like a storage room, 30 minute wait for drinks, Beer Chicken @ $24 that did not include any ingredients listed on the menu, other than 2 small drumsticks, $28 6 oz steak that was "chewy" and unremarkable. Small portions badly prepared.
Pretentious overpriced food and service that is lacking. Go someplace else. |

I had not heard of this restaurant prior to purchasing a special dining coupon from Dealfind, I was surprised to see it located in the old La Caille on the Bow location in downtown Calgary.
What can I say, beautiful location, the service matched the food for top quality, the ample portions was absolutely delicious from starter to desert.
The ambiance is quite romantic with subtle lighting and music even though the restaurant is a good size. Oceana prices are the standard for an upscale restaurant but reasonable when you consider the location, service and menu.
We look forward to going again and again. |

Brand new location in the lovely Quarry Park district in the SE, nice atmosphere and for the sports fan you can enjoy the numerous big screens.
Mixed review on this one actually, service is relatively fast and friendly but the food is your basic pub grub, coupled with music that requires you to shout across the table to be heard, however this is a pub so I suppose it's to be expected or maybe the over 50 crowd like me, just does not get it.
Really like the location and service but the food is just OK ! |
