| London Drugs is just one of the best all around places to shop. I love the cosmetics, specialty foods, clothing, furniture, I mean what do they not carry??, plus their customer service is fantastic...its not just a Drug store anymore. |

| Great little Italian restaurant located in the Avenida Mall on Lake Fraser Drive SE. It is small and intimate and you should book ahead as the weekend is busy. Friday night we were treated to a guitar player who was wonderful and set the mood of the evening. Prices have not really changed over the years, neither has the menu, which is good if you are expecting your "favorite" dish. |

We have purchased 2 homes with this agent and cannot say enough nice things about him.
He has needed the patience of a saint to deal with us and our many changes of heart, however his good nature and patience never failed. He is professional and his many years of experience helped us make the right decision each time.
One thing we really appreciated was his honesty. Buying or selling, Jim is definitely who we like to call ! |

| After driving an Audi, Benz and Infiniti I would have to say that Lexus of Calgary is the cream of the crop for their superb customer service. Simply wonderful vehicles, we have owned the LX and the ES, both were great. They treat you and your vehicle like a VIP, long after purchase. |

| Certified herbalist Joann loves what she does and it shows in her products from herbal teas to face creams. I have tried the digestive teas and the distress skin cream and really like the quality, knowing it is certified organic is great. The fresh herbs and spices are awesome. 5 Star for sure! |

Located in a strip mall in Willow Park. It is cosy with a handful of tables, the atmosphere is nice, we had Supper, the food is quite good with ample proportions.
Perhaps the only downside here is it is a bit pricey, so family dining with the kids could be expensive as well as lacking in kids menu choices. |

I never book hotels without a quick look at TripAdvisor.
This site covers hotels worldwide from well informed travelers, plus you can compare room prices while looking at reviews.
Having stayed at hotels throughout Europe I find most of the ratings to be pretty much spot on for accuracy and the bonus of finding hotels you would not find otherwise is fantastic.
For worldwide hotel reviews TripAdvisor is a must see. |

Only just starting using Hotwire this year and had great results each time.
If you are adventurous and willing to take a chance on what hotel you get, you pick the city, star rating, area and price, you are given a selection to choose from of which you book & pay in advance, only then do they reveal the hotel name.
I booked several business trips to Toronto and have had fantastic results at 4 & 5 star hotels for about 3 star prices, beautiful hotels in the area I needed to be. Super.. Hotwire is fantastic for last minute bookings too. |

Hair Design by Erica is a "at home" salon stylist and for those of us living in the deep south, i.e. Douglasdale, it's a welcome addition to the over inflated salon prices we are subjected to these days.
Erica has been doing hair about 10 years, she is young, professional, listens to what you want and frankly her prices are cheaper across the board.
I had my long hair cut/styled (really picky 50+ year old) and was very pleased with the results and the price, the only kicker is she is only available evenings after 6 and weekends, still if you want to save a ton while getting salon quality and you live locally, you might want to try her. |
